Twitter has ditched the famous bird logo in favor of an ‘X’ as its official symbol. This action follows Elon Musk’s announcement of the change over the weekend. The update is already visible on the website.
Notably, Musk said on Twitter that x.com now redirects to twitter.com. Musk also referred to this as an “interim” logo in the post, implying that another logo change is possible in the future.
The social network may not be satisfied with simply changing the logo. Musk stated that Twitter will eventually “bid adieu to the Twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds.”
