KekChain is an off-chain and external scaling solution. They let users construct smart contracts. Users need to use code to specify the behavior of the virtual machine (VM). Then, it will execute the contract’s function. They aim to overcome scalability and usability problems. In the process, they will maintain decentralization by leveraging the existing development community and ecosystem.
KEK relies on a combination of Proof of Stake (PoS) and Proof of Authority (PoA) consensus system. It supports short block time and lower fees. These blocks are produced by a limited set of validators. Then, they are chosen in and out according to the staking system. Validators in return will take turns producing blocks in a PoA fashion.

They have a native cross-chain communication system using bridge. Furthermore, They are Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible. It means that KekChain supports all existing Ethereum tooling.
