- Liquidation Mechanisms: The iYU Finance Protocol incorporates robust liquidation mechanisms to protect against undercollateralized positions. If a user’s collateral rate falls below the safe Collateral Rate, designated Liquidators can intervene to purchase the liquidated portion of collateralized LST using the corresponding iUSD (100% – Liquidation Reward Rate). This mechanism exerts upward pressure on iUSD, reinforcing stability.
- Arbitrage Opportunities: Arbitrage opportunities play a pivotal role in correcting deviations of iUSD from its 1 USD peg. Users leverage these disparities to capitalize on profit and restore iUSD to its intended value.
