What Exactly is PlugChain?

At its core, PlugChain leverages the aggregated cross-chain Oracle protocol, combining the benefits of high performance, scalability, and low Gas. This allows PlugChain to offer reliable data and an ecosystem for Web 3.0 applications, which promotes the transition from web 2.0 to web 3.0.

Its primary objective is to enable secure, efficient, and seamless communication between blockchain technology and real-world data. Additionally, PlugChain aims to facilitate communication between intelligent contracts of other public chains such as Polkadot, BSC, and Heco by leveraging cross-chain technology.

Why Should you use PlugChain?

PlugChain distinguishes itself from other public and Oracle projects by utilizing fundamental technologies such as fragmentation, state channels, and lightning networks, which enhance security and scalability. Additionally, PlugChain features scientific on-chain, off-chain, and inter-chain (cross-chain) designs, as well as technological innovations that are difficult to replicate.

In particular, PlugChain’s on-chain design encompasses four sections: an agent system that calls user contracts, a supervision system to ensure the authenticity of records and service quality on the chain, a registration system to verify nodes outside the chain, and a payment system with a reasonable threshold design.

Furthermore, to optimize efficiency and scalability, PlugChain’s Oracle network computing is performed under the chain. The modules that facilitate this function include verifiable computing outsourcing and distributed data feeding.

Key Features of PlugChain

Interoperability Cross Chains

PlugChain’s Oracle machine network enables cross-chain interaction between executions. It combines the efficiency of Cosmos and independent data interaction with the underlying functional components of Polkadot for scalability.

Through the Oracle network, PlugChain can achieve data interaction with each independent blockchain network. Meanwhile, the PlugChain Hub connects technical resources, business requirements, existing blockchain functional components, and practical business chains to meet different business needs and realize extensibility. The PlugChain Hub acts as a trade port extending in all directions, with perfect infrastructure, strong technical resources, and efficient circulation interaction, similar to a cross-chain service like a chain registrar.

PlugChain Hub has various functions specific to the blockchain world, such as an automatic market maker, Ethereum bridge, ratio special currency bridge, and close connection with the wider digital economy. It can also share security and fundraising for new blockchains, and provide cross-chain accounts and equipment for capital formation.

Heterogeneous Fragmentation Technology

In order to achieve scalability, PlugChain utilizes heterogeneous fragmentation technology. The PlugChain Hub addresses the growing demand for cross-chain data and contract interaction while also solving the challenges of scalability and efficient transaction processing.

For simple cross-chain asset transactions, the fragmentation node in the PlugChain network utilizes the Interledger protocol. This protocol uses cryptographic algorithms to create fund custody for the two accounting systems and connectors, ensuring that only participating accounting systems can track transactions and that privacy is maintained.

For more complex contract interactions, PlugChain employs a heterogeneous multi-chain protocol and starts the relay chain-side chain mechanism. This enables different parallel chains to be transmitted through a Merkle tree to ensure the authenticity of data. The relay chain only transfers transactions from the exit queue of the source parallel chain to the entry queue of the destination parallel chain.

User Friendly with PlugChain SDK

PlugChain SDK is a user-friendly framework that simplifies the process of building secure blockchain applications for developers. It is based on two main principles: Modularization and Security.

Modularization creates a modular ecosystem that allows developers to easily create application-specific blockchains without writing every function of the application from scratch. With the development of PlugChain, the ecosystem of SDK modules will expand, making it easier and easier to develop complex blockchain applications.

Security constraints the security boundary between modules so that developers can better understand the composability of modules and limit the scope of malicious or unexpected interactions. PlugChain SDK also comes with a set of useful developer tools such as console command line (CLI), REST services, and various other commonly used tool libraries. These tools will further simplify the development process for developers. To learn more, check out PlugChain’s whitepaper now!
