What Exactly is Oi Network?

Oi Network is a next-generation mobile Web3 social task application. It caters to the demand for social media content curation and influencer crowdsourcing. The platform enables users to engage in a variety of social tasks and earn sustainable crypto rewards, regardless of their level of experience or social following. Furthermore, it operates on the principles of Web3 technology. This allows for an open and transparent system that is accessible to all. How Does Oi Network Work?

Oi Network uses a Social-to-Earn model to provide a new experience for users. Furthermore, the Social-to-Earn model is a fusion of three modules: Content Creator, Networker, and Validator. Let’s take a closer look at how it works.

Content Creator

The module for Content Creators involves adding tasks to a Task Feed, which are ranked by the size of their bounty pool in descending order. Users have the option to contribute to the bounty pool to enhance the task’s ranking.

Networker

The Networker Module allows users to easily embark on their social media monetization journey through four simple steps: Connect, Stake, Social, and Earn. By connecting their Twitter account, users can evaluate their influence on Volume. Then, by staking MOM, users can mint their Volume into Proof of Influence SBTs.

Afterward, they can complete Twitter social tasks and earn in-app currency that is convertible into MOM. The Social-to-Earn model is designed to be a non-linear incentive system where users’ rewards are based on a range of factors such as Volume, staking, referral, and post engagement. This approach aims to reduce farming and Sybil attacks while promoting genuine interactions and longer screen time.

Validator

To prevent reward abuse and ensure the validity of interactions, Oi Network offers a Validator Module. Users can become validators of the Social Oracle by staking. Once a user completes a task, it is distributed as a validation task to 100 random validators for verification. The results and whether to send rewards are determined by a majority vote of 51%. Validators with the majority vote will share validation rewards, while consecutive minority votes will be considered malicious and subject to punishment. This extra assurance is necessary due to gaps between Web2 and Web3.

Tokenomics of MOM Tokens

Oi Network uses a single token called MOM (Magic Oi! Money). It simplifies the promotion and earning experience while concentrating the utility and value on the same token. All rewards are initially credited as XP, a non-crypto that can potentially be converted into MOM at a 1:1 ratio. MOM is not merely a reward token but also serves as the core governance vehicle to keep Oi Network functioning as a democratic and fraud-immune network.
