What Exactly is MetFi DAO?

This platform flips the traditional angel investor and venture capital model on its head. How so? It aligns the desires of the project with those of the investor, influencer, and community.
Furthermore, MetFi DAO is all about the community. For starters, the community benefits from sustainable METFI Multiplier rewards through staking. It drop new METFI tokens to all MetFi NFTs twice a day. Additionally, they gain seed-stage access to some of the most promising Web3 projects in the world. This is usually not accessible on their own. The community must approve of each investment through on-chain voting, ensuring their investment in each project from the start.
Meanwhile, the community will receive whitelisting opportunities to some of these projects’ pre and public sales. There are also alpha and beta access to their products, including blockchain games, and more with returns proportionally shared.The projects that MetFi invests in benefit from an existing, large, and engaged MetFi community that is invested in their project from day one.
What is the Usage of MetFi NFT?
MetFi NFTs provide a wide range of baked-in utilities. It includes METFI Multiplier for DeFi staking, governance, proportional share of the treasury, a claim on the investments and assets executed by the treasury. It also provides community membership, and early-stage access to projects the DAO invests in. Moreover, additional utilities are continually being added to MetFi NFTs. Currently, it generates METFI Multiplier rewards every 12 hours, providing an opportunity for investors to earn additional returns through staking.
What is the Usage of METFI Token?
METFI is the native token of MetFi DAO on BNB Chain. It offers governance voting rights on all DAO proposals and claims on the assets of projects invested in and incubated by MetFi. It also provide opportunities to purchase tokens and NFTs of select projects, alpha and beta access to their products, and various other privileges.
The maximum supply of METFI is 500 million tokens. However, the actual maximum supply is lower due to the token burning mechanics and the inability to mint more tokens. This ensures that the maximum supply will decrease over time, making the token increasingly scarce, rare, and deflationary.
The majority of METFI tokens are securely held in the METFI Vault smart contract and will be released over a long period of time. The primary distribution mechanism is to distribute them to NFT owners in the form of Multiplier Rewards every 12 hours. Over 90% of circulating METFI tokens have already been staked to MetFi NFTs since the platform’s launch in May 2022.
