Introduction of ReserveBlock
ReserveBlock is a decentralized, open-source blockchain that operates on a peer-to-peer (p2p) layer 1 infrastructure. Developed using the C# programming language, RBX is fully autonomous and governed by validators who use on-chain voting to make decisions. However, it is different from other consensus mechanisms like Proof of Work (PoW) or Proof of Stake (PoS). ReserveBlock uses a liquid Proof of Assurance (PoA) consensus. It democratizes mining while earning randomized block rewards in an eco-friendly environment. Users can participate in the network using a laptop machine and are not subject to any lockups or holding periods. Additionally, the RBX network is gasless, meaning that users are not charged gas fees. Furthermore, their balance does not impact their weight in the network.
RBX is also a self-management ecosystem. It provides users with on-chain tools and features to tokenize any digital or physical asset through self-executing NFT smart contracts (SENs). These SENs can be natively deployed on the RBX network and transferred peer-to-peer, along with the underlying media and files associated with any NFT. Additionally, a non-custodial core wallet can carry out the transfer process without the need for any third-party applications.

ReserveBlock’s RBX protocol is highly scalable and offers a range of utility features. For example, it offers on-chain royalty enforcement, multi-asset, and evolving/devolving NFTs. It also has asset wrapping and pairing, p2p media transfer, domain name service, and on-chain self-governance, among others. The protocol is developed with Bitcoin principles in mind and follows that ethos, resulting in an autonomous and decentralized ecosystem that is purpose-driven and agnostic to use-case or environment.
