What is Arbitrove Protocol?
The development team found a gap in the market for a product that users would find valuable. One thing led to another, and it ultimately led to the creation of Arbitrove. The team recognized that a carefully curated index product consisting of a basket of Arbitrum-native assets, paired with an automatic rebalance mechanism, would be highly attractive to a wide range of users.
They primarily aim to offer a yield-bearing index of Arbitrum-native assets. This includes blue-chip DeFi protocols, emerging protocols, NFTs, and yield-farming assets. They also want to address the challenge of complex and time-consuming navigation faced by new users while also providing diversification and real yield for experienced users.
Moreover, Arbitrove is designed to solve the liquidity and slippage problems faced by investors by incorporating a broad range of Arbitrum tokens to provide exposure to the community and long-term liquidity to different tokens.
They hope to make Arbitrove the go-to option for deploying capital on Arbitrum by combining comprehensive price exposure with the potential for generous yields. The highly-anticipated launch of Arbitrove in February marks the beginning of the journey. Now, they will focus on growing their first index product, ALP, which includes blue-chip tokens from the Arbitrum ecosystem such as GMX, Treasure DAO, and Camelot DEX.
What is TROVE Token?
TROVE is a governance token for the Arbitrove Protocol. To ensure a fair distribution, 70% of the total TROVE supply that will ever exist will be in the form of Escrowed TROVE (esTROVE) initially. This is a non-transferable token that can be staked for protocol revenue sharing if the DAO votes for the TROVE staking proposal, which is expected to be submitted in early March. The esTROVE can also be vested to become TROVE through a 1-year linear vesting that starts in September 2023. However, esTROVE that is vested is not eligible for staking or fee sharing.
