The BWB airdrop allocated 50 million BWB tokens to users who earned points through wallet activity and referrals. The claim deadline was September 6, 2024, so the original campaign is closed to new claims. In December 2024, BWB was merged into Bitget Token (BGB).
This guide covers eligibility, rewards, the original participation steps and the airdrop’s current status.

What Is the BWB Airdrop? BWB Airdrop Overview
Bitget Wallet, formerly known as BitKeep, is a multi-chain Web3 wallet that supports token swaps, DApp browsing and asset management across many blockchains. It operates alongside Bitget Exchange as part of the same ecosystem.
In March 2024, Bitget Wallet introduced BWB as its ecosystem token and reserved 5% of the supply for community airdrops. The BWB airdrop was designed to reward loyal users and encourage new users to try the wallet.
It is important to separate BWB Points from BWB tokens. Points were an in-app score that tracked participation during the campaign and had no trading value on their own. Tokens were the actual on-chain assets distributed later, based on the points each user collected.

Who Was Eligible for the BWB Airdrop?
Eligibility depended on taking part in the original 2024 campaign, which had two parts. The Initial Airdrop rewarded existing users based on their wallet history, asset holdings, swap volume and participation in past events. The Task Airdrop let Bitget Wallet users earn more points by completing activities.
Initial points were assigned to EVM, Solana and Tron addresses. Users who had swapped through other popular wallets, such as MetaMask, Trust Wallet and Coinbase Wallet, could also receive bonus points.
Earning points did not guarantee a matching number of tokens. Points were converted at the announced rate, with 50 million BWB allocated to the campaign.
How Did Users Check Their Eligibility?
Users opened Bitget Wallet and connected their EVM address on the airdrop page to see whether they qualified. This checker belonged to the 2024 campaign and is no longer an active claiming opportunity.
How to Participate in the BWB Airdrop: Original Steps

The steps below describe how users joined the campaign in 2024. They are not instructions for a new airdrop in 2026.
Step 1: Create or Import a Bitget Wallet
Users downloaded Bitget Wallet and either created a new wallet or securely imported an existing one.
New users who created their first wallet during the campaign could unlock 50 BWB Points after completing at least $100 in daily swap volume on any three days during the campaign. Creating a wallet alone was insufficient to unlock the reward.
Importing an existing wallet could also help users access Initial Airdrop points associated with its past activity.
Step 2: Complete Activities to Earn BWB Points
Through the Task Airdrop, users earned points by:
- Holding eligible digital assets in the wallet, with points based on daily holdings snapshots.
- Making qualifying token swaps through Bitget Swap.
- Referring eligible users who earned points through supported activities.
According to the official campaign rules, eligible holdings earned 2 points per 500 USDT equivalent, while qualifying swaps earned 10 points per 100 USDT in volume, subject to daily caps.
Step 3: Invite Friends for Referral Bonuses
Standard referrers earned a bonus equal to 10% of eligible points collected by their invitees, excluding locked points and points earned from downstream referrals. Selected Bitget Wallet partners could receive a higher rate of 15%.
This was a points incentive only, not a guaranteed token payout.
Step 4: Check Points and Follow the Distribution Process
Users tracked their points in the app and waited for the conversion announcement. Once the points campaign ended, eligible participants could follow the subsequent token conversion and claiming procedures.
BWB Airdrop Rewards and Token Distribution
How Many BWB Tokens Were Allocated?
Bitget Wallet set aside 50 million BWB for the pre-TGE airdrop, equal to 5% of the 1 billion total supply. For context, the official tokenomics assigned 46.9% of supply to the Community Treasury and 10% to private investors.
The 50 million figure represented the campaign’s allocation, not a verified total of successfully claimed tokens. Each participant could receive only their eligible allocation, which depended on the points earned.
How Were BWB Rewards Calculated?
Points were used to determine eligibility and each user’s token allocation. In May 2024, Bitget Wallet officially announced a conversion ratio of 4.1 BWB Points = 1 BWB token.
For example, 410 BWB Points corresponded to 100 BWB tokens under the announced ratio. However, the formula does not establish how many allocated tokens were ultimately claimed.
This guide does not assign a fixed USD value to individual rewards. May 23, 2024, marked the opening of Bitget Wallet Launchpad subscriptions, while BWB spot trading on Bitget began on June 6, 2024, at 12:00 UTC.
How Did Users Claim Their BWB Tokens?
Once the claim window opened, eligible users followed this process:
- Open the claiming page through Bitget Wallet.
- Connect an EVM wallet to check eligibility.
- Select “Claim my BWB.”
- If eligible, submit a Solana address to receive the tokens.
- Alternatively, choose to have the tokens sent directly to a Bitget exchange account.
The on-chain claiming process supported Solana addresses, while BWB was also launched on Ethereum and Base. The exchange option suited users who preferred not to manage another on-chain address.
Important: These steps document the historical process only. The claim period closed on September 6, 2024, at 14:00 (UTC+8), and the claim page stopped accepting new claims after that time.
Is the BWB Airdrop Still Available in 2026?
No. The original BWB airdrop is closed.
In December 2024, Bitget merged BWB into Bitget Token (BGB) at a conversion ratio of 1 BWB = 0.08563 BGB. Bitget discontinued BWB spot trading and related exchange services on December 27, 2024. BGB became the unified ecosystem token for both Bitget Exchange and Bitget Wallet.
This does not mean that every legacy BWB token disappeared from on-chain wallets. Holders of remaining BWB should consult the official BWB-to-BGB conversion FAQ and verify whether conversion services are still available before attempting a swap.
Some older promotional pages remain online. Bitget’s original campaign page still shows an “Active” label, while Airdrops.io lists the campaign as ended. That label does not establish that the original claim has reopened.
Treat old airdrop links as historical records, not proof of a live opportunity. For current rewards, check Bitget’s official website, app and verified social accounts.
BWB Airdrop vs. Bitget Alliance Program: What’s Different?
Bitget’s newer reward campaigns are sometimes confused with the BWB airdrop. The Bitget Alliance Program is a separate initiative, not a second phase of the original airdrop.

The Alliance Program has a reward pool equivalent to 30% of eligible net transaction fee revenue. Bitget’s published materials have described different settlement cycles, including seven-day periods in earlier terms and three-day periods in the updated rules. Users should check the applicable official campaign terms for settlement and claiming requirements.
According to Bitget’s October 14, 2026 Wave 5 update, cumulative rewards had reached approximately 5.13 million USDT across more than 3.77 million recipients. This was a reported milestone, not a live distribution total.
BWB Airdrop Risks and Safety Tips
Expired airdrops attract scammers because users keep searching for ways to claim. Keep these precautions in mind:
- Avoid fake claim websites that promise access to unclaimed BWB.
- Never share your recovery phrase or private keys with any site, app or support agent.
- Do not sign unfamiliar wallet transactions or token approvals, since they can give attackers access to your funds.
- Use only verified official wallet and exchange channels.
- Remember that the original BWB claim period is over, so treat any message saying otherwise as suspicious.
Final Thoughts on the BWB Airdrop
The BWB airdrop was Bitget Wallet’s 2024 effort to reward loyal users and grow its ecosystem. Participants earned BWB Points through wallet activity and referrals, with 50 million BWB allocated to the campaign. The original claim period has ended, and BWB has since merged into BGB. When you see a new Bitget reward program, treat it as a separate campaign, not a reopened BWB claim.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the BWB airdrop still active?
No. The original 2024 campaign has ended, and its claim window is closed.
How much BWB was distributed in the airdrop?
The campaign allocated 50 million BWB, or 5% of the 1 billion total supply. This allocation does not confirm that all 50 million tokens were successfully claimed.
Can I still claim BWB tokens in 2026?
No. The original claim period has ended. BWB is no longer supported as a separate ecosystem token following its merger into BGB, although legacy on-chain holdings may remain. Holders should check official conversion guidance for available options.
Are BWB Points and BWB tokens the same?
No. BWB Points were in-app scores earned through wallet activity. BWB tokens were the on-chain assets allocated based on those points, using the announced conversion ratio of 4.1 points per token.
