The Swalo Project: Simplifying Blockchain-Based Services for Users through Intuitive UI/UX

1.0 UX/UI toward the Blockchain Mass adoption

One of the biggest obstacles to blockchain mass adoption would be the complexity of blockchain’s UX/UI. It makes it difficult for the general public to access and use blockchain-based services without hesitation.

In fact, only professionals, investors, and those with an interest in cryptocurrencies understand blockchain. Meanwhile, the general public is still struggling to understand it. They face clear limitations in maneuvering the rapidly developing and changing blockchain-based services.

However, the goal for blockchain mass adoption in the crypto blockchain industry by 2023 is to create easy-to-use services for the general public. Users should be able to access and use blockchain easily in their daily lives. Therefore, the first step is improving the UX/UI of blockchain-based services. The industry should also create services that fit their needs, finding key use cases.

“Trends for 2023: centralized entities might not be able to operate without being regulated, mass adoption will come only if the industry builds up user-centric products, and we will see new innovative ways of interacting with the technologies and bridges between digital and physical world”

As users who have experienced using cryptocurrencies may know, using cryptocurrencies requires more complex processes than traditional online banking.

Steps to Use Cryptocurrency Exchange

Let’s take the process of using a cryptocurrency exchange as an example for general users.

General users need to go through the following steps to use a cryptocurrency exchange:

  1. They must understand how to use the exchange provided by the exchange.
  1. They also need to know how to create and use a cryptocurrency wallet.
  1. They need to understand the principles of commission calculation for assets.
  1. They need to have a sufficient understanding of the consensus process of various cross-chain transactions and the complex transaction processes compared to traditional remittance services.

The process of peer-to-peer (P2P) transfer between users on DEX or the transaction process of transferring assets between different Layer 1 chains (e.g., From Ethereum to Solana) and Layer 2 chains (e.gFrom Avitrum to Optimism) represents a very complex technological complexity from the perspective of the diffusion of blockchain technology and services for popular use.

However, what if there is a technology that allows for the transmission of complex blockchain transactions through simple chat?

If existing blockchain transactions could be transmitted through an AI chat prompt-based technology, and all the complexities of these transaction processes and technologies could be omitted through simple chat via AI, it could create tremendous value in terms of blockchain mass adoption by making it easy for people to use the services.

Therefore, the possibility of transforming the world from the perspective of blockchain mass adoption arises, generating great expectations for the utility value that could be created for the general public.

2.0 Swallow Project

AI is currently bringing many direct changes to our lives in the market. In the era of Industry 5.0, which is an extension of Industry 4.0 that passed through the 3.0 and 4.0 industrial revolutions in 2010, numerous AIs, including ChatGPT, are directly penetrating people’s daily lives from a collaborative perspective and becoming part of their lives.

What is particularly interesting here is that in the coming future society, the agile collaboration process between blockchain technology and AI will bring greater potential by complementing each other’s weaknesses.

This means that the development of AI technology will further solve the problem of the technical complexity of blockchain that the general public currently feels, and from the perspective of creating core user cases, which is the biggest barrier to blockchain mass adoption, it can fully demonstrate its advantages.

Existing Web-2-centered services have limitations in terms of collaboration due to their centralized AI service execution authority for their services. However, Web 3.0 blockchain-based services have the advantage of an open-source-based transparent environment, allowing users to freely utilize data and contracts.

Compared to Web 2.0 services, this can be seen as a part where the possibilities and advantages of modularity in blockchain will be demonstrated in future societies.

The Swallow project has developed a Short Cut service for transactions that not only blockchain industry engineers but also the general public can use Web 3.0 services easily, quickly, and conveniently.

What is Swallow Aiming to Solve?

We are trying to solve the 3 problems below.

1. Non-engineer users are hard to execute complicated tx and query data on-chain.

2. There are so many DApps to use, and they are implemented by several sites.

3. the graph, Dune, etc are great tools for dev but it’s still hard for non-engineer.

-Swalo Team-

The Swalo project has been designed to provide easy-to-use UI/UX for non-professional users, primarily targeting them. Users can register Smart Contract-based Shortcut Blocks on the Swalo AI platform. Then, they can combine these blocks to create shortcuts.

Moreover, users who can generate existing Smart Contract codes can earn incentives by creating Shortcut Blocks. In other words, users can easily use numerous blockchain-based services such as sending and swapping with just an AI chat prompt by connecting their wallet.

Currently, various efforts are being made to create accessibility for cryptocurrency assets and generate key use cases with the potential of crypto blockchain technology.

The great interest of traditional firms such as VISA in cryptocurrency digital assets and APIs like the Swalo service, which is advancing AI, will enable users’ easy trading experiences through chats based on wallet creation on social media platforms such as Telegram and Discord. Hope this Swalo project will soon have significant utility value from the perspective of blockchain mass adoption. Currently, Swalo service only supports token swapping, but it is expected to become a good example that can lead to the mass adoption of the blockchain industry, where people can easily use the service through various collaboration processes by further developing its open-source strengths.

3.0 Conclusion

In conclusion, the complexity of blockchain technology has been identified as a major obstacle to its mass adoption. However, there are initiatives and projects such as the Swalo project that aim to simplify blockchain-based services for non-engineer users through intuitive UI/UX design. The crypto industry is also expected to see new innovative ways of interacting with technologies and bridges between the digital and physical worlds in the coming years. It is crucial that these trends toward blockchain mass adoption are inclusive and accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds. By improving the user experience and interface design of blockchain-based services, we can make this technology more accessible and convenient for everyone.
