MEXC AMA Recap: Cycle Network – A Seamless “VisaNet” for Crypto

MEXC X Cycle Network AMA

On August 7 at 13:00 UTC, MEXC hosted an insightful AMA with Clara Cheng, Head of Business Development at Cycle Network, to discuss how the project is building a “VisaNet” for crypto. Hosted by MEXC, the session introduced Cycle’s positioning as a lightweight multi-chain settlement layer, distinct from traditional Layer 1s or rollups. Instead of competing with existing chains, Cycle connects them, enabling interoperability and simplified access for developers and end users alike. Clara explained how chain abstraction removes the complexities of interacting with multiple blockchains, allowing developers to integrate once and access many networks, while users enjoy a frictionless, single-wallet experience. She also highlighted Verifiable State Aggregation (VSA), a breakthrough that enables real-time state synchronization and cross-chain account management, creating a universal account experience across Web3.

The discussion then turned to Golden Goose, Cycle’s flagship gamified DeFi platform, which has gained strong traction on Web2-native channels like TikTok. Clara explained that Golden Goose acts as a bridge for mainstream users to explore DeFi in a fun, accessible way. While this product targets mass adoption, Cycle is also building developer-focused toolssuch as an advanced Settlement SDK aimed at wallets, RWA platforms, and payment providers needing secure multi-chain settlement. She revealed that several partners are already integrating Cycle infrastructure, with announcements to follow as projects go live. By splitting its economy into a protocol layer and a service layer, Cycle ensures a balance between decentralization, sustainable monetization, and strong community governance. Revenue comes from settlement fees and value-added services, supporting the network’s long-term growth.

Looking ahead, Clara shared that Cycle’s roadmap includes major updates to Golden Goose, new developer tooling, and expanded partnerships across the crypto ecosystem. She emphasized that the future of Web3 will be multi-chain by default, with infrastructure that feels invisible to the user, similar to how payment networks work in traditional finance. This vision positions Cycle as a key player in bridging the fragmented blockchain landscape, making interoperability seamless and intuitive. The AMA offered an in-depth look at how Cycle blends technical innovation with user-friendly applications to drive adoption on a global scale. Missed the live session?
