DeFi staking involves locking one’s crypto tokens into a smart contract in an effort to earn more of those tokens in return. Consider it the decentralized equivalent of putting your money in a bank fixed deposit. With the advent of crypto and Decentralized Finance, DeFi staking has emerged as an additional way to earn profits from your crypto assets.

Daily yield calculation (daily):
User’s daily yield = User’s staking amount * APY / 365
For example: Suppose user A stakes 10,000 USDT, and APY is 5%, then, User A can get a daily yield of: 10,000 * 5% / 365 ≈ 1.37 USDT. You may carefully read the attention part.
A flexible pool is a pool that instead of staking, you only need to hold crypto in your spot account and get yield on holdings. And the system will automatically count the minimum holding amount in a day to give you the yield on it. You will see the fixed mining pools on the page, and you may go to the special crypto page by clicking on “Trade”.
Take USDT as an example.T stands for stake date. Yield will start on T+2 and will be distributed to your account on T+3.

MEXC Staking offers two types of products: Locked staking and Flexible staking.
Assets staked with Locked Staking will be locked for a certain period specified in the product summary details, and will not be able to be traded, transferred or withdrawn during that period. This is suitable for investors who wish to hold assets for the long term. Assets staked with Flexible Staking will automatically generate yield once activated, and the assets can be traded, transferred or withdrawn at any time. This allows you to get paid for holding your assets in your MEXC wallet while still enjoying flexible use and liquidity, and is suitable for investors who may need short-term liquidity of their assets. Participation methods
Firstly, you need to have crypto in your spot account. Then, go to the Staking page from the top menu bar.
MEXC Staking Fixed Pool (Locked Pool)
A fixed pool is a pool that you need to stake at least the minimum days required to get a premium return. You will see the fixed mining pools on the page, and you may go to the special crypto page by clicking on “Stake now”
Take BTC as an example, when you stake BTC at Day T, your yield will start generating at T+1, and you can unlock the staked BTC starting from T+16. Finally, get back all principals and yield at T+19. You may carefully read the attention part, and stake your crypto by agreeing to it.
