Extended has officially named its upcoming token XTEN, announced on October 23, 2026. The project has reserved 300 million XTEN, or 30% of the genesis supply, for eligible points-program participants, with the token generation event (TGE) planned for November 2026.
Quick answer: Regular weekly Xpoints distributions have ended. The Final Arc Trading Competition, which closes on November 3, 2026, at 00:00 UTC, is the last announced chance to earn Xpoints.

What Is Extended and Is the XTEN Airdrop Confirmed?
Extended is a perpetual futures DEX offering crypto and real-world-asset (RWA) markets, where traders can go long or short with leverage. On October 22, 2026, it moved its settlement layer from Starknet to Arc, Circle’s Layer 1 blockchain, carrying open positions across without pausing trading.
The airdrop itself is confirmed. Extended set a genesis supply of 1 billion XTEN, with 30% allocated to the community. Older guides use EXT, but Extended’s October announcement confirms XTEN as the ticker. What Extended has not confirmed yet is who qualifies individually and how each allocation will be calculated.
How Does the Extended Points Program Work?
Xpoints are non-transferable program units that Extended can take into account when it distributes tokens. Unlike tokens, they cannot be sold or moved to another wallet.
Until weekly rewards stopped, users earned Xpoints by:
- Trading perpetual markets
- Providing qualifying liquidity
- Referring new traders
- Testing new products and features
- Contributing to the community
The program is capped at 70 million Xpoints, and 69,235,805 had been distributed as of October 6, 2026. That leaves exactly 764,195 points under the cap, of which 750,000 are reserved for the Final Arc competition, not independently available for farming. The old schedule of 600,000 points per week no longer applies.
Holding Xpoints does not guarantee a specific XTEN amount. Extended’s official Points Program documentation explains the rules. For beginners, our guide on how crypto airdrops work covers the basics.
How to Earn Xpoints Through the Final Arc Competition
The Final Arc Trading Competition runs from October 7, 2026, at 00:00 UTC to November 3, 2026, at 00:00 UTC, according to its formal terms.
Promotional announcements mention October 6 to November 2. October 6 activity was advertised as retroactively eligible after opt-in, while November 2 is the final calendar day before the formal closing timestamp.
Competition Rewards and Scoring
The competition pays out on two separate tracks:
|
Reward Track |
Pool |
Who Receives It |
|
Cash prizes |
$250,000 |
Top 500 traders by leaderboard ranking |
|
Xpoints |
750,000 Xpoints |
Qualified traders, proportionally by activity score |
Cash-prize rankings and Xpoints allocations use different formulas.
Cash-prize score = PnL × Weighted Volume^0.7 × OI^0.3
Xpoints Activity Score = Weighted Volume^0.7 × OI^0.3
The Xpoints formula excludes the profit-and-loss (PnL) multiplier. Missing the cash-prize top 500 therefore does not automatically exclude you from Xpoints.
Weighted volume is calculated differently across trading activities:
- Crypto taker volume: 100%
- RWA taker volume: 50%
- Maker volume: 10%
Open interest (OI) is time-weighted across the competition, rather than measured only at the end. Two traders with equal raw trading volume can therefore receive different scores.
The 750,000 Xpoints will be distributed after the competition, proportionally among qualified traders, not immediately after each trade. A higher score does not guarantee a larger XTEN allocation later.
How to Participate
- Check the restricted-countries list and competition rules.
- Open the official Extended app and connect a compatible wallet.
- Review supported collateral and deposit routes, including USDC on Arc.
- Opt in through the official competition page.
- Trade eligible markets only if you accept the costs and liquidation risk.
- Track your position on the official leaderboard.
Accounts with elevated API rate limits, including certain market makers, cannot receive competition prizes or Xpoints. Extended may also exclude institutional or professional accounts and suspected abusive trading.
Participation does not guarantee eligibility for separate Arc or Circle rewards.
How to Check Your Extended Points and Eligibility
Your Xpoints balance is shown on Extended’s official points dashboard:
- Open the points page in the Extended app.
- Connect the wallet linked to your trading account.
- Review your total Xpoints and distribution history.
The dashboard shows what you have earned, but it is not a final XTEN eligibility checker. Extended can still adjust or remove points for rule violations, calculation errors or ineligibility.
Skip third-party “XTEN checker” sites that ask you to sign unfamiliar transactions.

Extended says eligible participants will receive XTEN in self-hosted Arc wallets without paying for their allocations.
However, detailed claim mechanics, potential network transaction requirements, identity checks, vesting and individual eligibility rules remain unannounced. Free allocation does not necessarily mean every on-chain transaction will be gas-free.
The November launch remains subject to regulatory timelines. A white paper is expected on October 31, 2026, but that publication date is not guaranteed.
Extended Airdrop Risks and Restrictions
- Leverage: Positions can be liquidated, potentially wiping out the full margin.
- Vaults: Deposits carry market, liquidity and smart-contract risks.
- Rule breaches: Wash trading, artificial volume, self-referrals and multi-account farming can result in disqualification.
- Eligibility: Elevated API rate limits and certain professional or institutional accounts may make users ineligible.
- Regions: Check Extended’s restricted-jurisdictions list before depositing.
- Scams: Never pay an unofficial claim service or share your wallet recovery phrase.
