MEXC AMA EXIP Token – Session with Aswin

In this Telegram AMA recap, you’ll find insights about the EXIP token project. In an event hosted by Miranda from MEXC, you will meet Aswin from EXIP!

MEXC AMA with EXIP (EXIP Token)
MEXC AMA with EXIP (EXIP Token)

Introducing MEXC AMA member form EXIP Token Project:

Hello everyone, I’m Aswin the COO of the EXIP Token project. It’s nice to be sharing this time with the amazing MEXC community to help you all get a better understanding of our project.

Thank you to everyone who participated in today’s AMA. It was my pleasure to answer all questions you had about our project. Please feel free to DM any of our team members in case you have any questions you need answers to. Hope many of you will join us in this journey on decentralizing the internet together.

Questions from community to EXIP Project:

Question 1:

Miranda: What is EXIP? Can you share with us more in detail?

Aswin: EXIP is a fully fledged blockchain based decentralized DNS system, where users are able to buy, sell and auction Domains & Top Level Domains. All Domains & TLDs will be represented by an NFT, which would be minted and sent to the buyer’s wallet on purchase. This ensures that the owner fully and truly owns their Domains/TLDs.

The EXIP browser extension is now available on both Google Chrome & Firefox, which will act as the bridge between the traditional and the decentralized internet. All you would need to do is install the extension and enable it once, from then onwards your browser would be able to access both traditional and decentralized websites.

All the DNS servers used to resolve domains would be run by the members of the community, this ensures a high level of security as there would be multiple node validators securing the network. This also makes it almost impossible for your Domains/TLDs to be taken down as no single person has control over it.

The EXIP Token ecosystem will be fully and only governed by the EXIP token holders who will possess the power to vote for any decisions pertaining to the EXIP ecosystem such as taking down any unwanted domains or adding new features to the EXIP ecosystem.

This model ensures that the EXIP ecosystem will be a fully decentralized place where anyone will have the power to voice their opinion.

Any user can now purchase their own Domain/TLD, and host a static website on it. You can access the Domain Reservation System by following this link (https://app.exip.live/) and reserve your own Domain/TLD.

Question 2:

Miranda: What triggers you to EXIP? What are some of the real-world problems/pain points that EXIP aims to solve?

Aswin: EXIP started as an idea during a conversation between the core team members of the project. We shared the same thoughts as to how the internet was a very controlled environment, with only a couple of entities having the control to seize or revoke any domains at their own will. We wanted to change this, and make the internet a fully decentralized environment. Thus, we started working & researching on this project, and in March 2021 we were able to launch the whitepaper of EXIP. From then onwards the project has now developed up to releasing its fully functional MVP product, a successfully completed IDO & upcoming CEX listing on MEXC on the 16th of January for the EXIP token.

Our main goal would be to create a fully decentralized internet, where the users themselves are able to govern the whole system. This is what the internet was meant to be and it is what we are trying to deliver to the people.

Question 3:

Miranda: What is the role of EXIP token in EXIP? Would you tell us more about its tokenomics?

Aswin: EXIP tokens will be used to buy, sell and auction Domains and TLDs and will be the only form of currency accepted in the EXIP ecosystem after successful user adoption.

The EXIP ecosystem will be fully and only governed by the EXIP token holders through a fair and equal voting process. Whether it is taking down a specific domain or adding new features to the ecosystem itself, a vote will be open where every token holder would be able to vote for or against the said decision, even we as the developers will have no control of governance and would only be implemented based on the results of the vote.

EXIP token holders will also be staked 21% of each domain/TLD sale.

Question 4:

Miranda: Are there any exciting news or updates with regards to EXIP that you would like to share with the users?

Aswin: Our next step is to roll out the community-run DNS servers, followed by multi-page web hosting and an NFT marketplace in which our Domains/TLDs would be traded.

We also have plans of entering into the metaverse, where our domains will be much more than just accessing decentralized websites and would be tied up to assets and various elements of the metaverse.

We are also looking at partnering up with multiple WEB 3.0 based projects where we would run each other’s nodes to make the network more secure. You can also expect partnerships with Domain registrars such as GoDaddy, who would be marketing & selling EXIP’s decentralized Domains and TLDs.

Miranda: there is so much good news to look forward to! Thanks for sharing

Question 4:

Miranda: If you were to summarize your project in ONE word, what would it be? Why?

Aswin: We are building an Extreme Internet Protocol(EXIP). A protocol that is one of a kind that rectifies all issues existing in the current DNS system, whether its the security or the privacy of the user; therefore we are entering the international market with an exceptional, omnidirectional and multifunctional approach.

Free-asking Session

Q1. AUDIT is important for both TRUST and SECURITY ?

Have you done any AUDIT of your PROJECT ? If yes, please share your AUDIT CERTIFICATES WITH US .

Aswin: Yes we have already been successfully audited by Quillaudits. You can check out the full audit report by following this link (https://docsend.com/view/5bvc6xrsvx6nmhuk)

Q2. Project stability is important, so how do you make sure your project doesn’t die year after year?

Aswin:

We are in this for the long run. Up to date we have stuck to our roadmap and kept our promises on all the dates. We will be rolling out more product features that would make the EXIP ecosystem a more complete DNS system. And we are not only targeting crypto users but rather anyone who would like to have customized Domains/TLDs for their use. This opens up a huge market for us to market and sells our product.

Q3. How many team members do you have? Do they have enough experience in the blockchain field? Do they have any experience working in crypto and non-crypto projects?

Aswin: We currently have around 11 members working full time on this project. As mentioned before our blockchain Developers, NIFTRON, have won a SAARC award for being the most innovative blockchain startup. So I do believe we have a strong team to take this project up the ladder.
